Fresh, Hot, and Crispy – Hit the Spot!
I was craving fish and chips and stumbled upon Holy Mackerel — so glad I did! It’s conveniently located near the bus stop with parking just across the road. The shop owner was really friendly, and the food was simple but great. The fish was fresh, and all the seafood came out hot and crispy — just what I needed. Definitely a great local spot for a satisfying seafood fix!

Got the Noosa Pack with one grilled fish and one crumbed. Fish was fresh and delicious. The calamari was done perfectly and the large cut chips were excellent. Everything was perfectly salted and hot when the order was complete. The owner even advised the box the order served in could be folded out flat to make a plate. Reasonably priced for a great feed and very friendly and accommodating service. Definitely recommend.

We arrived at opening time at 11am. The fish had a strong odour and unfortunately the fillets had multiple bones in it. Chips were well seasoned with chicken salt but not very crispy. $35 for the lot, served in a cake box resulting in the food getting soggy. The service was good and food came out quickly.
